June 2, 2026 – Email Friends

I noticed that my incoming emails were declining lately and I found a solution to make new friends. I submitted a questionnaire about car insurance and selected he magic button that allows strangers to contact me about how they can improve my life with their insurance.

Turns out the audience I engaged is tenacious, and won’t stop sending newly revised insurance offers for me. I haven’t answered any of them, yet, because I’m sure doing so will result in a more concerted effort to get my attention.

Although the emails I get are on the annoying side of my tolerance, it’s nice to know that there is a large group of people who want to be my best friend.

So, if you’re lonely, fill out one of those questionnaires and you’ll have a plethora of new friends to keep you company.

  1. Hi Jerrie! How are you feeling after your tumble? I’m not a fan of falling. I had 3 falls in one year and my doctor wasn’t happy about it. I wasn’t either, but she was so concerned that she sent me to physical therapy for balance training. I did hit my head on one occasion and got a little concussion. I probably should’ve gone to the ER, but it was a holiday and the last thing I wanted to do was sit in a waiting room for hours. I did see a doctor a couple of days later. All the falling happened outside in the garden. Although once I got on top of the garbage bin to get my cat who was literally stuck in a tree. His back leg was lodged in between two branches. That time my glasses frame broke. Fortunately my neighbor had just gotten home and was able to get Cody out of his dilemma. I decided to stop going outside for a while.

    Kindly, Gretchen Cherry

    • Hi Gretchen. Good to hear from you again. Sounds like you should hire a gardener and stay inside, in your recliner, watching other people do dangerous things. I’m glad you recovered from your injury okay. I had two hard falls last year. One while we were traveling where I remember falling but I didn’t land. For that one I was unconscious for half an hour part of which was the trip back to Diane. Wrecked my glasses beyond repair. The second one was here at home and I was very awake when I hit the ground and for a while after. Broke my nose just a little. Hope you’re well. We should visit.
